Well you are sure loved around these parts Brock. You're a star over here!
Thank you Chris.. it's just this time of the year that gets me down the most and today is the 3rd year since my deaf sister passed away. Just a bit down I guess, which is expected. I appreciate everyone being here and talking with me. I love the matrix! I am so thankful for it=)

I was just thinking of you
and what a wonderful spirit you are
you must know you are never alone,
there's a grand symphony around you
close your eyes and feel the love ~
from one who's been down that road before
and understands completely ~

My brother in arms (or guitars it should perhaps be...), you're a support to me in these trying times, and when I go here to chat a bit, or read a line about jazz or whatever, it's a therapy for my soul, some people say one can't create unless from within suffering. I don't believe that, but I know at least for me, the music is like healing, and to be in this gang of fellow jazz lovers, that's great for me. Life's a bitch sometimes, but then I can go to a place where there's always people around that make me happy, and it's a bit better, and your writing here, I don't know if it's a poem based on a reality, or fiction, but anyway, it's very well written, and I totally feel the pain you're putting on the screen. I hope you see there's a lot of beauty in a monday morning, in a tiny ant going about its business, in a Beautiful jazz tune played by a hungry hornblower in the thirties, cold and lonely, but the jazz, or Ronnie Drew and his Dubliners celebrating a disappearing image of the Dublin they loved, but I'm drifting. You write great and beautiful words, and I follow you, but don't be depressed, we're a bunch of jazzers here, we're here.
Peace
