Happy Birthday, Oyvind! By the way, my grandparents on my father's side, grew up in Oslo. My dad was 100% Norwegian (making me 50%).
Anyways, have a great day!

Thanks, eller 'tack' gamle kämpe!

Hello!
Can't get that Astro tune out of my head...
That have to mean something. Wonderful tune!

Thanks so much. Glad you like it. Drew
Yeah, a really good and enjoyable player, and a nice group, of which I know far less than I should - me having a norwegian family and all - but that he's a good player, that I know! Must check his group out more closely, now that you bring it up. But first some coffee and metronome...
Peace

Hello, again, Skei!
Staffan William Olsson plays guitar in the group "The Real Thing" (the norwegian one; there is two of them). Superb player. Really nails the nerve of jazz (for me anyway). Quality Trad. BOP
Peace!

Yup, it's been one steep hill to climb, but hopefully I'm rather close now. Glad you think im on the track. It feels like it. I've been tweaking it a bit since posting, not much, it's really close, just took away a tiny bit of low bass register, and some low mid register bit, just fine tuning it, - it's more or less the epitome of sounds to my ear, so I'm damn glad I just said to myself 'try Ableton live and no effects'. So easy and yet so alluring. Well, I know Staffan William Olsson is a superb player, and he has this band too, can't remember the name of it, but they're really good! It's nice but somewhat trying to find a sound and have to work so very hard just to get it. But splendid once it's found though. And it feels like the sound rubs off a bit on the playing capability too, cos it feels like things start working a lot better once the sound is right. Now it's just practice, practice, even more practice... Peace Skei (the found heaven one)
Ha ha...! Just read your lines about trying to get that Ulf Wakenius sound. I'm a big fan myself of U.W.
I have the same type of problem regarding Staffan William Olsson. Know how much of a frustration that can be...

I think you made it.
