Federico Lechner will be touring in the U.S. with violinist Christian Howes February 7-13, including performances and educational workshops.

Federico Lechner is a pianist and composer from Argentine but he has been living in Spain for twenty five years. He works on the mixture of genres with a tango and jazz trio he created a while ago now.
He frequently collaborates with Jerry González, Christian Howes, Sonny Fortune, Ugonna Okegwo, Marc Mommaas and Rez Abbasi, among others. With these artists he has recorded and toured the United States, Europe and South America and has performed in stages such as New York’s Rockefeller Center.
As an educator, performer and composer, Christian Howes has gained great notoriety and respect from critics and players alike. Christian was a favorite of the late Les Paul, with whom he worked for 11 years. In recent years, Howes has become an in-demand violinist on the New York scene, performing and recording with a bevy of jazz artists, including alto saxophonist Greg Osby, pianist D.D. Jackson, guitarists Les Paul , Frank Vignola, and Joel Harrison, drummer Dafnis Prieto, vibraphonist Dave Samuels’s Caribbean Jazz Project, crossover pioneers Spyro Gyra, and a 4-yr chair in Bill Evans Soulgrass. An Associate Professor at the Berklee College of Music, he is also the founder of the Creative Strings Workshop and Festival.
