TURN ON'S
Self motivated, optimistic people that are not afraid to take risks or stand alone.
TURN OFF'S
Poor service in restaurants, stupid comedy sitcoms and movies, lazy apathetic workers, pompous domineering confrontational people, overt and hidden bigotry, child and women abuse, racial injustice and genocide, Jefferson County, music with negative destructive messages, professional atheletes and artists who are poor role models, money loving and lustful pastors, and on and on.
ABOUT ME
My name is Edmund Brown. I live in Birmingham, Alabama. I've had a passion for music for as long as I can remember, but it took many years of searching, chasing, trial and error to understand that my true desire was music production rather than just playing in a band. I have experienced a lot in my life (31 years of marriage, 6 daughters, 10 grandkids, flakey church folks, let-downs, put-downs, ..., ...; well those life lessons have greatly influenced my music. My primary influence is Jesus Christ (my Savior and the anchor, reference and focal point in my life pursuit. Everything that I am I owe to Him), my wife (Lindia) and all of my daughters and grands, my mother (Naomi) and sister (Trav), my Board of Directors for GWM and all of my ministry associates that assist me in reaching the lost and hurting, my partner and fellow producer Ronald McCain, all of my relatives locally and out of state, my co-workers past and present (Boss "D", Chris, Lowster, Scottie, Mae, James, Mary, Connie, Cynthia, Darryl, Dr Zoghbi, Dr Perry, Joyce, Carmen, Alesia, Kaye, Barbara, Brenda) and so many others.
It is my hope that my music will be heard and appreciated, and that through the grace of God and through His Spirit that empowers us to succeed, I can somehow leave a musical legacy for all to experience.
